why would our new owner shaft us and risk to be alienated by the fans by lying constantly in the media for months coming up to their first transfer window then?
Well, they'll be spending the money, as they said.

This may be the reason Rafa keeps signing youngsters then, building a team of the future rather trying to compete with the others now for signings. Mind you it makes you wonder about his talk, talk, talk outburst after the final now doesn't it.

              already posted:

This is the same thing I've heard, although it was unconfirmed and there was still the hope that money would belatedly be made available. If the Count has had this confirmed, then it saddens me.

The one thing Rafa has been told is that anything he raises in sales is his to spend, which is very big of them.

If I was Rafa and Real Madrid came knocking this summer I'd walk. The guy has been taken for a ride for 3 years by the people in charge of the club.

He's a top manager and deserves to be backed with the kind of budget the top clubs spend in the transfer market. If this is true, it is confirmation that we are not a top club a la Barca, Real, Chelsea, Man Utd, Inter and AC Milan.

We're a second tier club now who just dream big.

                  True.

The time for talking is over for Tom and George.

If we end up with second rate players like Benayoun, Voronin, Maldouda, Bent etc this summer a lot of fans are going to be very angry.

I don't think he will walk, I have more faith in him than that.

However, if he does walk then '**** him'. If he wants to manage a Chavski-like club then that's up to him.

The Americans can always use the stadium to say thats where their budget has gone.

                        This is bad news.

The one thing that's always worried me is that both Moores and Parry proved that they were pretty incompetent, so why did we all believe that they would make a great decision when it came to getting new owners?

If this is true, they've let us down.

"If Gerrard continues to play up front, leaving this lack of creativity and intelligence in Midfield, the season WILL be over by Xmas."

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

This must be the worst willy season in history already....FACT.

No one knows anything. Im am 100% convinced that Moores would not have sold the club unless G&H had guaranteed a substantial transfer kitty. I am loathe to use this term but I am still sure that this whole LFC poverty saga is just a screen made from smoke. We will have been well aware that had we splached the cash we would have paid well over the odds. I think we are conducting business in secret and will announce multiple signings together that will hopefully shock all the doubters.

A huge error by the yanks saying that there would be money to spend, waiving wads of cash before the final.....naive, stupid or sinister you decide.

And wasn't Gillett quoted last week as saying we wouldn't win the league for at least a couple of years? We know why now.
