thats how the mancs played every game this year, even though they had some luck here and there they fought for every 3 points they got, and tbh, on paper, they never looked that good. i hope to **** with whoever comes in, we fight for all those 3 points as well with no excuses

It's actually pretty serious. Benitez is settled, his wife is settled and his kids are settled. He loves the club and the fans but he's a proud man and will leave rather than be messed about. G+H are playing with fire as they believe that he's too settled to quit.

Incidentally, G+H have fallen out. Hicks now wants to spend but Gillett does not...hence the friction.

Maybe you'll believe me when Benitez resigns (as that's the way it's looking at the moment).

i believe something is not right and that started weeks ago, reina and alonso signed this week. he is not resigning and thats not being complacent nor foolish.

Gillett is using Foster not arriving until August as an excuse to tie up the purse-strings. Benitez knows this. Hicks has fallen for the club and wants to spend but Gillett isn't having it. It's just profit to him and you don't make profit by spending £35m on a player (he knows Liverpool will fill the stadium anyway).

The hope lies in the fact that you, the real fans (the ones who go to the matches), make your feelings known about this. Chris Bascombe has done all he can to help you.

Only then might we not be going for second (or even third) choices again this Summer.
