To be honest all these anouncements sound like hyperbole. People who may or may not have a good source exaggerating what they hear. I think that the most likely scenario is that G & H will have altered the way we pay our debt and freed up more of the funds generated by the club for transfers - with the CL run and the new TV deal this is a significant wedge of cash and allowed the building of the stadium to not have a significant effect on what we have to spend. They may well not be pumping 10's of millions into the team but I still think we will have more to spend than the last few seasons.
I'm convinced we wouldn't see the investment in players like Lucas if our funds were to be as limited as some want to suggest. I don't think I've read anything on here of people going over the top.
People are not losing their rag just because of a few posts by some unknown people on the internet who claim to be connected. People are putting two and two together from what they read in the papers, from what they've seen and been told by the club. If you put it all together it doesn't make for a pleasant conclusion to draw.
