Plus i see more and more Chelski jerseys on Kids these daysOriginally posted by DJS View PostNeither do Chelsea...the back-to-back league champions of 2005 and 2006...
and why do Manure have such a big fanbase???....because they Won the Prem almost every year in the 90's and early 00's hence attracting the younger fanbase and all those crazy Asians that would latch onto anything and have to Manure because they were winning everything
When you feel like you're done, you are not alone........

I stand by my "We are Liverpool, they are nobody" quote from earlier, and always will.
If we were a struggling 2nd division club we would still be 10x the club they would be and I would still love this fantastic club with all my heart & soul.
Dont ****ing tell me that means nothing..........
Anyway, this money bull**** will die out eventually just like it did in Italy & Spain, its cyclical and after everything has died down guess what....
"WE ARE LIVERPOOL MOTHER****ER"
And never forget it.

This is nicked from a fella on RAWK, but it answers your point perfectly.Originally posted by DJS View PostNeither do Chelsea...the back-to-back league champions of 2005 and 2006...
"In the years between 1997 and 2003 when Abramovich took over Chelsea won the FA Cup twice, the League Cup, the Cup-Winners Cup and Super Cup. In 2000 they reached the Champions League quarter-finals and Ranieri took them to another Cup final and they qualified for the Champions League in 2003 before Abramovich took over. They had a decent squad and a good mentality finishing 4th, 6th, 6th, 5th, 3rd, 4th, 6th in the previous seasons.
Whereas... Birmingham won the League Cup in 1963. They were out of the top division until 2002 and have been up and down since then. I can't think of a single Birmingham player that would get into a decent team let alone one of the top four. It will cost him a ridiculous amount of money to be able to buy the players he needs to make a dent in the Premiership and an even more ridiculous amount of money to pay the wages of the sort of mercenaries that would go to a ****e club, with no European pedigree and a tiny ground cursed by Gypsies...
But that's just my opinion..."
Not bothered in the slightest.

I'm from Liverpool and have them good ol rose tinted specs and can't see the worlds best wanting to live in Liverpool either.
Brum has asome great area's like Liverpool just outside.
And they had Tele Savalis promote them.
If they get the billions in a few years they can be up there. Its times like these we learn to live again FF

I agree DIC dragged it out a bit but they were astonished at mis-management and did say that a "new management team" would be put in place. Parry must have **** himself.
£500K bonus and 2 year notice period of Parry - I think a few things about the whole investment saga stank.

His history of running ISCOR (South African Steel producier) is not very flattering. Yes it has become more profitable, but in the process thousands have lost their jobs. The environment has taken a severe battering and he's artificially inflated the prices of Iron and steel. A Bit like Roman I guessOriginally posted by DeeGame View Posttrue.. and mittal will do whatever it takes to succeed, you just have to look at his history in running his other businesses

Still, I´m a foreigner but have visited Liverpool, and I think it´s an attractive place, maybe due mainly to it´s history and magic. Liverpool is probably the most famous city of England besides London. The Beatles and the two football teams have done your city no harm.Originally posted by redlancer View PostI'm from Liverpool and have them good ol rose tinted specs and can't see the worlds best wanting to live in Liverpool either.

I can´t think of anything that relates to Birmingham, although it´s the second largest city in England isn´t it?* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.
