after being promised a substanstial kitty for transfers, we are now looking at the bargain end of the market again, even west ham, who have just paid £17m on darren bent are spending big. we have even been priced out of the race to sign malouda because chelski, manure and the arse have shown interest. now is there something big happening that will shock the socks off us or, are we going to pay £9m for an always injured bench warmer or a striker that was completely bob in the premiership the first time round (forlan)!! i am patiently waiting (but not holding my breath out of fear of asphixiation!!!

I am trying to be patient in the hope that we are waiting for La Liga to finish before signing players. If we still have not signed any top players by this time next month, G&T will have lost my trust.
As Rafa said, its time to stop talking and time to start doing. He DOES want the very top players and said this immediately after we lost in Athens, so I expect G&T to put their money where their mouths are."Its not about the long ball or the short ball, its about the right ball." Bob Paisley

A full list would be helpful no doubt.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

I know everyone on here is preaching patience, and that is true. It's highly plausible, as has been mentioned on here on numerous occasions, that we're waiting for the La Liga season to end, but I admit it has been frustrating, especially seeing as Man Utd have been ruthless enough to conclude most of their dealing already and Chelsea making progress in the market as well. I think what has worried me most is Rafa coming out on the day after the CL final saying he wanted deals cocnluded as soon as possible otherwise we'd miss out on top targets, yet seemingly nothing has been finalised, giving our rivals a possibly opportunity to pounce on out transfer targets.Originally posted by padawanlearner View Postafter being promised a substanstial kitty for transfers, we are now looking at the bargain end of the market again, even west ham, who have just paid £17m on darren bent are spending big. we have even been priced out of the race to sign malouda because chelski, manure and the arse have shown interest. now is there something big happening that will shock the socks off us or, are we going to pay £9m for an always injured bench warmer or a striker that was completely bob in the premiership the first time round (forlan)!! i am patiently waiting (but not holding my breath out of fear of asphixiation!!!
Truth is, we don't really know what is going behind the scenes, and now the in-house contract situations have all been finalised, we have to set our sights on bringing in top transfer targets from outside.White liquid in a bottle = Milk
