...lets play a new game I've just made up. Its the Est1892 Rumour prediction game. Not transfer prediction, rumour prediction.
Basically the deal is (making it up as he goes along), you have to predict transfer rumours that will then appear at a later point in a sensible media outlet, at least 48hrs in advance I reckon. I'm considering only using the bbc rumours feed (338 on teletext) and skysports.com as the acid tests. The more ridiculous or amusing the rumour that actually comes off in the papers, obviously the more points you get. Getting the quoted price (if any) gets a bonus, but there is no bonus if the transfer is actually completed. Millions of extra points are available if you can show that you put your rumour out elsewhere and it is that which made it to the media. Points wil be docked if any rumour is shown to be lifted from that dodgy rumours website
A good examle would be; Beckham to Newcastle (ha, quite ridiculous, very funny) = 574 points.
Scoring is based on a complex mathmatical principle known as "total arbitration," My calculations will obviously be unquestionable or I'll get Scully to ban you
I'll start, Van Horseface to Spurs (12m), Gattuso to Everton (8m) and Buffon to Arsenal (10m)
