Have to say, I've seen a fair few bits of sublime skill from FT, but whether he can translate that in to Prem form & in our team remains to be seen.

He will do for us what Henry did for Arsenal. Except more, if all goes according to plan. He has nearly every attribute under the sun and he is a really good finisher, contrary to some people's opinions.

He will spend a bit of time coming deep and working the flanks ala Henry and will link our midfield (best midfield there is) with our frontline brilliantly.

He is also good in the air which is something he ha over henry.

He will be the signing that wins us the league very soon

I wish we had players breaking beyond the forwards from midfield like Arsenal used to have in Ljungberg and Pires and United do in Ronaldo & Giggs. I think this would make Kuyt a far more effective player. Hopefully a skillful, intelligent pacy partner will help too.

He will be in the box alot unlike Kuyt.If he does half what Henry did then we will be getting an amazing player.Comparing the two before he has kicked a ball is stupid.More like van Nistelrooy for me.

Remember Kuyt playing deeper was a deliberate tactic instigated by Rafa. I think you will see Torres playing the deeper role this year as has technical skills far outweigh those of Kuyt which will make him an ideal link man.
