Long blond ponytail, number 10 shirt, a legend is born.

To be honest, in the one full game I've seen him in recently (France v Ukraine about a month ago) he looked quite good. He was up front on his own because Shevchenko was injured and he held the ball up well and brought others into the game. It wasn't his fault that all his team-mates were crap and couldn't get near him.

He could have more of an impact than we think...

I'm actually quite happy about that. If we can combine it with bringing in some less goal shy midfielders I'll be made up. We will play at most 2 strikers a game and we have a decent range of strikers who complement each other - more money on this area would be money spent sub-optimally in my view.

I'm disappointed to see that despite not having seen anything of Voronin so many people are against him.

My thinking is he is going to surprise us, from reading about his qualities he sound like Bellamy (but a free version).

I like his confidence, when asked what he thought his role would be and he said simply 'to score goals'
