the point is mate that if you say "kowt" in the normal manner of english syllables your no nearer pronouncing it correctly than if you said "kite"

to pronounce dutch, flemish or danish etc.. you need to make some completely differrent sounds than exist in any english word

Thank God he`s even harder to mark than pronounce
' He has football in his blood ' said a scout who was trying sell a player to Liverpool. ' You may be right ' Shanks said, ' but it hasn't reached his legs yet '

the ending is very similar to the correct pronunciation of molby and hysen which led to some people thinking it was glen "hussein"!

its a northern european thing - effin freaks

Does it matter how we say it? It'll be pronunced Coy-t and he'll get used to it. Same as Sami has ,as his name should be pronounced Hoopia and who can forget Martin Offiah pronounced O'fire.
Bill Oddie, Bill Oddie, put your hands all over my body.

I think he understands the difficulty his name's pronunciation poses for English-speakers, he doesn't really seem too bothered about people getting his name wrong so I suppose it doesn't matter that much. But we have a long time until our next game so we've got to talk about something!
