Agreed, this type of thread is one of the many things that make Liverpool fans special, we support our players even after they have left, YNWA etc.

Marky, I'm pretty sure that is the most redundant attempted justification I have ever seen. This is a "Liverpool Forum" and we are discussing a revered and respected member of our "ex-players" contingent. Do we not discuss Kenny? Do you not start threads about Fowler? Just because you don't like a player doesn't mean we can't talk about them. In the same way I don't moan at you in General Chat for starting crappy threads.

As much as anything, there isn't much to talk about at the moment so if we have the oppurtunity to discuss a superb piece of skill from a footballer who played for us not 2 months ago then we should make the most of it
