PAUL Anderson says he's enjoying being a Swansea City player but one day dreams of playing for Liverpool in the Premiership and Europe.
In today's Wales on Sunday, the teenager on loan from Liverpool says he is grateful for his opportunity to play regularly at Swansea and is improving all the time.
As a player in Liverpool's reserves Anderson was playing just 15 games per season - a figure that he has already surpassed after just three months as a Swansea player.
Indeed the pacey winger is enjoying regular first team action so much that he has bagged eight goals from both league and cup action and is currently joint top scorer with Jason Scotland.
Anderson's stunning pace and his ability to score goals has made him a firm favourite with the Swansea faithful.
Anderson recently missed out on the second round FA Cup match against Horsham on the weekend due to an injury which he picked up during the Hartlepool game last Tuesday.
Anderson currently remains sidelined, but it's hoped that he will recover soon to play some part of Swansea's busy December schedule of eight games.
Paul Anderson said:
"I want to be a first-team player with them, be in the Premier League and in Europe. It’s what any footballer dreams of."
"And I think I definitely made the right decision to come here and try to make that happen."
"From my first game to where I am now I’ve improved a hell of a lot as a footballer and a person."
"I definitely think I’m showing some consistency in my form."
"In the reserves with Liverpool we’d only play something like 15 games a season."
"But I’ve already played more than that here. I’ve got a taste of playing competitively, I’m enjoying it and want more of the same."
"I feel I’m playing well, I feel I’m dangerous when I’m on the ball and going forward, which is what the manager wants from me."
"But I feel there’s still more to come and I can do a lot better."
