To be perfectly honest I don't want him, but he is the type of player we need. At 29 I think his best years are behind him, but we have enough players who can score from 30 yards, we just need one who can score from 3.

exactly, someone like Horseface, or larsson/hasselbaink a few years ago. Looking at it most good strikers from a few years ago all done that job, there isn't any real quality poachers left anymore - is it a dying breed.
