About time we started ranting like the pissed old tramp, wenger and maureen do. It works this kind of pressure. Not embarrassing at all, Rafa's sticking up for the club. Another positive change this season - fraid to say we've been far too "nice" in past. About time we stopped being doormats.

You're right the Tevez thing wasn't easy for them, but I assume Rafa is meaning in the time it took the Premier League to sanction the deal. After all, the Tevez deal was only delayed by West Ham dragging their feet and demanding a fee. Once the agreement was reached between the clubs the Premier League sanctioned the deal in 3-4 days. Once the agreement was reached over Maschcerano it took the PL weeks to confirm it.

It's about time he spoke up. Mourinho and Ferguson have been doing this for years.

He's creating the kind of "Us against the rest" attitude that has served the chavs and the filth so well.

Man Utd and Chelsea have often bullied the authorities into getting their own way using similar tactics to what Rafa is using now. Sometimes comments like these are the only way you can protect the club's interest.

Rafa is clearly using this to foster team unity and create that seige mentality which all successful teams have. I see this working for us.

And as for it being hard for us to get mascherano but easy for tevez to join Utd - absolute bobbins! Hopefully these comments will disappear un noticed.
    embarrasing my ass.
It is exactly the approach Slur Alex has taken with everything he does not agree with in the past. You don't see the United supporters being embarrassed about his antics.

What can we do though, if they say this is the way then we have to agree with it, unless Gab goes to UEFA about it

That would surely tip Utd off. We would have to use a club who realistically could afford and attract the player so as not to arouse the suspicions of the Scum. Seems to me they have thrown in some quite scandalous accusations there.

As for the decison of the PL, if, as we are led to believe, Heinze has written evidence of a promise from Utd that they are allowing him to leave for £6.8m, why are the Premier League accepting the point that it was always clear that Utd's willingness to sell at that price was dependent on it being a foreign club, when this caveat was introduced orally and thus can not be substantiated?
I know, it's a bit of a random club to mention. If they really did make these accusations and there are no grounds to them , we should seriously consider taking some legal action of our own. Even if it means just getting an apology. How funny would it be to hear AF slurring his way through an apology to us (even though I know this wouldn't happen)!

Think this is getting murkier by the minute.

Based on what I've read about it (which frankly isn't much because I don't really care enough) then it seems a very partial decision and surely must be subject to some kind of judicial review unless Premier League/FA rules do not allow this (in which case one has to wonder whether the Premier League/FA rules are themselves not open to judicial review).

Then again, I'm not a lawyer and may have got it completely wrong.

I think rafa's comments are far from embarrassing

Look at the mentality ferguscum created at manure since he took charge some time during the bronze age!! every one and his dog were against manure in his opinion the fa the refs the press etc etc!! with this belief instilled in his players they went away and won practically everything at home and even had a flash in the pan season in 99 where they even got their hands on our european cup.
I say let Rafa bitch and moan til the cows come home once we continue to be successful on the pitch and who knows maybe we'll start to get free penalties like the chavs seem to be getting and maybe just maybe we'll get our very own mike riley like manure have enjoyed over the last few seasons.

I dont think we have anything to be embarrased about. The lob-sided favouritism shown towards united is rediculous and plain to see.

Mourine has pointed it out on numerous occasions as has Wenger in the past. I would not have been suprised in the slightest that had that penalty desicision on Sunday been against united the premier league would have found some way to give them the 3 points.

Its seems if they kick and scream hard enough, and throw a big tantrum the premierleague caves in.

Even the **** about everton not playing Howard against them, they got away with that ****. Its one rule for them and another rule for the rest.

There was nothing embarassing about Rafa's comments.

Early kick offs are fine but when we are away from home after an international week takes the piss. Most players won't arrive back until Thursday and then need to travel on Friday for a game early on Saturday. Thats a problem together with the rest that the international lads get.

The Mascherano signing delay was due to the Premier League. The Tevez delay was down to West Ham demanding a transfer fee/compensation.

I think we were all a bit niave to believe the Premier League would rule against United when it came to Heinze. United have had far too much pull there and I really think that they were scared to rule against them.

The Crystal Palace stories must be bollocks also. That is just too stupid for words.

I wouldn't put a £ value as it would go out of sync with the euro price.

Bloody technicality if you ask me.
