    Tales From The Travelling Kop

Admin, can you make this a sticky please?

For those of you who don't know, we are compiling a book to form a sort of anthology of stories of away travels from supporters of both young and old with all profits from the sale of the book going to the HJC and the Baby Emma appeal.

So far we've had a great response but we're still missing a few stories from the older generation so if you've got any stories of a unique away trip, either PM them to us on here or email them to [email protected] and more likely than not, they'll feature in the book. Please remember to include your full name so that we can credit you in the book.

Also be sure to visit our site www.waltonbreckroad.tk. It's not a hotbed of activity because of our commitment to the book at present but rest assured it will be very soon.

We're so close to finishing the book but we're just short on a few stories from the older generation and the book will be out in time for Christmas.

Anyone with stories from away matches they went to in the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s are most welcome and we'll accept as many of them as you have. We've focussed on the current generation with the likes of myself and a few other posters on here who have told the tale about the new days in Europe and the like so some from the more seasoned Reds would be most welcome.

We need all stories asap so that we can send it off to our publisher so if you have a story, PM or e-mail it to us with your full name so we can credit you in the book.

    Thanks in advance

how about the time i went to stockport to watch the blue ****e in the cup bout 75/6 something like that. anyway on the way out of the ground there was about 800 mancs waiting for the blue ****e outside for battle. as the battle commenced the everton fans ran for cover but i will always remember this big blonde fella from everton shouting "dont run theyre only the 4th division" . about 30 seconds longer he got the **** knocked out of him by 4th division fans

            Hmmm...

Well it's not an LFC-related story but send it in and we'll have a look.

Yes, there's a colouring in section for Steve and some dot to dots of Michael Owen for 'our Katie'.

No worries mate. Everton are a bit of an embarrassment as a club, even their own supporters admit that. If you've got any stories though send them in.
