Sorry Foxy, but that really is one of the reason that always set our strip apart from the others through the years, no frilly collar bollocks that fly in the wind like Wolves/Ipswich circa 1977! I used to look at these teams and be glad our club never sanctioned them.. gave me nightmares !!

Bill Shankly knew that sometimes 'the clothes DO make the man'. Since then, by and large the strip has been simple, which reflected the football we play(ed).

Either Ring Neck (early 70s) or V-Neck (late 70s - 82) that shirt would have the look of CHAMPIONS!!

think about it logically mate, of course they get the designs done as soon as possible, they need to get everything approved get the manufacturing sorted and all kinds, 5 games into the season or 5 from the end what difference does that make?
