there is a big waiting list for season tickets.
when the new stadium is built there will be more season tickets availiable. the thing is how many people on this list would take a season ticket, some people wouldnt be able to afford one, others might not want one due to other commitments (moving away etc).
so i think 60000 will be plenty big enough. arsenal wont sell out every game after this season it will only happen this season coz people wana see the new groundIn Rafa I have faith

Sometimes its the actual method of selling the tickets that's the problem. How often have you heard stories of people waiting on the phone for ages trying to get tickets for a game? Loads of times I suspect. We've probably got two old dears called Nora and Dora answering the phone and doing the numerical calculations using an abacus !!Originally posted by dirty_sanchezWhy?
As someone without a season ticket, let me tell you, it is hell trying to get tickets if you don't know anyone well connected. If they don't all sell out, where do they go?
Trust me - 70k seats is too many - especially for midweek games against poor/mediocre opposition. People may say that if/when we're successful there will be a clamour for tickets - but history indicates that after a while the fans become blase about success and gates go down.
60k is about right in my estimation.

Hopefully the club will apply some logic to the issue of additional season tickets when the new stadium is built. i.e. some for of loyalty so that people who have been PTS members for years and gone to games etc actually get preference over someone who may have put their name down on the 'waiting list' some years ago.Originally posted by stevenage_kopthere is a big waiting list for season tickets.

I also think that the club are holding back on developing the ticketing infrastructure because Anfield could be knocked down in the next few years.Originally posted by nobbyladSo far this season the online ticket sales has been better than previously.
I think they've learned a lot from prior years.Such an ugly face, such an ugly mouth.

I had more credits and loyalty on my PTS fancard last year than a lot of Season ticket holders. Plus the away credits on me ST. I heard before that they were planning on doing this sort of thing. Hope they do.I live with Steptoe.

I've only got the ST until the end of this season. Then my mates kid is using it cos she'll be old enough. I shall still be able to use it for away games though like Lasty uses my friends other one.I live with Steptoe.
