Huntelaar - Is He A Rafa Player?

Ive been watching a few old Ajax games from last season and its the first time ive seen this lad properly other than the usual youtube compilations.

The boy is a lethal finisher, no 2 ways about it, doesnt seem to have a weakness in that he's 2 footed good in the air, holds the ball up well, good first touch, maybe a tad slow, but his positioning in the box is sublime IMO

For me, hes just the type of player we need, praps for next season, i just wonder whether he has enough in his locker in terms of work rate for Rafa to be interested in him.

I read somewhere that he may be looking to move on next season, do you think Rafa would be interested in him? I have my doubts tbh

Apparently Torres isn't a Rafa type player. If they're good enough, Rafa will bring them in

well he sounds too good to be coming to us!
apart from Torres i think our 3 other strikers can greatly be improved upon and it would not surprise me come next summer if Kuyt and Crouch leave us. Not sure about the Corw as he has started off ok for us. if it Klass who comes in along with say another (not sure who) then it'd be a huge improvement.

I dont think Kuyt is going anywhere but im still convinced that Crouch is on his way whether that be January or the end of the season remains to be seen.

Wouldnt have too many complaints if Huntelaar replaced him though,

Thing is, Rafa has been ruthless in the past and just got shot of players regardless of the goals scored. If they are not up to scratch then they are off. look at Baros, djibril, Mori, bellers, fowler. he is constantly looking to upgrade and find better quality. Unless Kuyt sparks to life and scores 20+ this season, I think he maybe off. The only reason why he may stay is that he is one of the hardest working strikers we've ever had and that is a quality that Rafa loves in his players. But say if Crouch/the Crow/Kuyt went and we got Klass/Villa

A striker that's only interested in goals... hmm the answer is no.

Huntelaar - a Rafa type player??? Think he scores goals doesn't he!! We couldn't have that.

Marcus Berg is a player with the same playing style and more or less as good as him. He would also be much cheaper.

I don't think that many have heard that much about him but he can score a goal from everywhere.

He is the next excellent striker from Sweden.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
