    Positives from tonight

    Great to have Aurelio back.

Lucas will be a top player.

We finally have a true number 9 again.

    Yossi has been atoned.

    God scored again.

    Feel free to add........

Leto looked pretty decent until he tired.....

      I won't mention the obvious.

Aside from that, I thought Aurelio was excellent. His crossing and passing is top class. Great to have him back.

Aurelio has the ability to make our LB spot his own if he stays fit and he has now had time to adjust to English football.

It's a big 'if' given his track record with injuries, but let's keep our fingers crossed.

We won - always a positive

          Torres - nuff said

Aurelio got minutes and looked good before being subbed. Hopefully he'll figure against Wigan.

Riise came on and contributed with an assist

Benayoun getting his first goal for the club

Good journey back home for the LFC fans

          Fowler

Itandje, Lucas & Leto starting (although none impressed that much, still early days though)

          Crouch & Momo getting minutes

Aurelio or Arbeloa as our left back?

I would play Aurelio on the left wing with Arbeloa as left back.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Yes mate, at the moment I'd go with the same. With no obvious candidate for the left wing slot, I'd go with Aurelio and, for the time being, use Babel as a sub for the most part. Benayoun can also do a job there, although he's better coming from the right.

I'd love to see Aurelio as our left back, his passing and crossing skills could add a new dimension to us going forward.

Arbeloa has been very good so far this season and I would be loathe to drop him but I see Aurelio as the better long term bet at this position.

Arbeloa may become a victim of his own versatility, as happens to many utility players.

Agree with the positives but what are we gonna do about having Tupac Shakur in goal? He puts the fear of god in me.

                          Me too.....

Sell off the other 3 and buy a couple of striker that are the same class as Torres

Admittedly, didn't see tonight's game but when Aurelio played LB prior to his injury his defensive capabilities didn't thrill me.

No disputing his technical attributes though.

I thought he did pretty well considering he's been dead for ten years.

Relax, Les, he's only a back-up. Unless we sell Reina to Atletico in the January window.
