This one's a no brainer as far as I'm concerned.
i cant see rafa goin for him
the fella is stubborn ya know
the mistake of gettin robbie back for sentimental reasons will play a part
must admit for 6 mill - and i feel dirty sayin it - id let him come back - but make him walk all the way from the toon mind

agree with your anelka view, he is world class and just waiting to come to a properly good side. him and torres would become legends.Originally posted by SCOUSERTOMMY View Postthis thread should be merged with the joe cole is a **** thread
also AF **** off with all this nonsense about pm ing links to articles. put up or shut up its a very simple equation. its the ****ing internet and im sick to death of all this cloaks and ****ing dagger bull****. 6 million for owen would be a bargain if he would accept the rotation system we have. that doesnt mean id like to see him back. spend the extra money and have anelka come back.

No he doesnt. He just needs chances, and he'll score goals.Originally posted by Nicey View PostIts a tricky one for sure. Couple of things I feel are worth considering though. One Owen for me needs the whole team to play a certain way in order for him to be productive. It seems he does not fit into systems, systems fit his style of play. Secondly lets not forget he did **** us over, when I say us I mean the club and the fans. I'll sign dont worry bollox that went on for so long only for him are biggest asset at the time to be practically given away for nothing, it was not all just the money mens doing he had his say. Not sure I can forgive him for that.
That said. Owen and Torres upfront is the stuff of dreams
And that's business, get over it mate. He doesnt need your forgiveness, he'd be coming as a business commodity and he'd score goals.

That would suggest that Liverpool, England, Real Madrid and Newcastle all play exactly the same style of football to allow MO to score goals, which they obviously don't and he has scored goals for all of those teams.

I hadn't even thought of Anelka, I wouldn't be against that idea.
Must admit a Torres/Anelka or Torres/Owen partnership would bring ****loads of goals.
I can understand people's stnce against Owen on these boards but I'm not against signing him for what happened before, I'm just unsure if he could stay fit long enough.
Just one thing though, LFC fans are famous for the way they get behind their whole team and I'm pretty sure they would support Owen, even if begrudgingly, if he pulled on our red shirt again.
Lets imagine Owen scores late winner against Spurs on May 11th for us to win the league. I think all previous feelings would soon be forgotten!!

No, no, no.........I'm only scary 'cause I'm hairy
Big year for me 2008, hope it all goes well for me, oh, and you lot too!
