I think he'd be pretty happy. He'd play a load of games and get much needed rest at the same time.

If an ex who was tops in the scratcher but you knew cheated on you, called you up and said she was getting out of a relationship and wanted to be f*ck buddies, would you say no?

            Bollocks you would!

At 6M and in a rotation system whereby he'd get plenty of rest he'd be a bargain. I'm no fan, but he still scores goals.
when things go wrong, don't walk away.
            that'll only make it harder.

                      He's a finisher mate.

You talk about today, but he had no chances.

If we create chances (especially at home) like we do, and Owen was on the end of them, 0-0 home draws against ****e like Brum would be a thing of the past.

you contradict yourself mate, we never created **** all against birmingham and created **** all against spurs in the 2nd half. when times are thin you need forwards that are also gonna create that bit of magic. owens best days are behind him. he would do better in the manc team and the style they play rather than the counter 11 men behind the ball

also sid as much as it kills me to say it but gerrard needs to get back to proving he is the best midfielder in the world instead of just acting it

                                Agree with you on Gerrard.

I dont think we created an awful lot against Brum, but there were openings and we had attempts. Owen's attempts, IMO, are usually more accurate than those of the likes of Kuyt, Crouch and Voronin (even torres, really) and would therefore be more likely to end up in the net.
