The game on Sunday is now simply season defining for LFC. A win and alot of the current negativity will go. despite a dodgy start we'll be 3 points off Arsenal and the picture will look much brighter.
However if we get beat, the knives will be well and truely out. We;ll be 9 points adrift and it'll mean before October's out, we'll be all but out of the CL & Premiership. If that happens it could be a long old winter for Rafa.

Prepare to be slaughtered by the 28 games left and we only lost one game brigade, the 28GLAWOLOGB.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
The main reason he is not playing Crouch is because he is our kick and run striker. Rafa does not want us to play that way and therefor is not picking him.
I personally think we would have had a better chance of winning with him in the team but I like Rafa for sticking to it and trying to force the players to play pass and move.
Whilst I agree with your second point there I'm not sure I agree with the first.
If you look at a lot of Crouch's goals they are balls from wide positions and frequently good bits of play that lead to them. Think about the Arsenal game, the first goal was great play from Pennant & Arbeloa on the right, the second a lovely dinked pass by Mascher in behind and a cross by Pennant to find Crouch on the deck.
Others spring to mind, like his ones against Bolton and Galatasary with the over-head kicks.
In fact he scored arguably our best goal of last season and there was nothing "kick and run" about it

A win is a must. Another defeat on Sunday and there will be mutiny on here.
Question is should Rafa be under this much pressure already? I'm not sure.
Personally I'm starting to get fed up with him though. The nonsense he was spouting in interviews after the Derby and last night were borderline taking the piss. We're not mugs.
Bottom line is whether his methods will bring us the league title. So far the evidence suggests not. Too much rotation, too many mediocre players, too often we fail to effectively execute the basics of the game, and I just think that Rafa is a negative manager by instinct. As it is we don't score enough goals. Can you win the league by being so pragmatic?
He'll be judged at the end of the season. But if our form and standard of football, and by extension player personnel hasn't improved considerably, then it'll need to be seriously looked at.
If he hasn't delivered the title by the end of next season then move on and get the next one in. I don't for one minute believe that G+T will accept the current standard for too much longer with Capello, Mourinho in particular available.

Anyway **** all that. Just ****in win on Sunday.
I would seriously consider my future as a Liverpool fan if that c u n t of a man ever managed LFC.

You'd kiss his feet if he won us the league. Be honest.
I hate him, he's a graceless, arrogant, moany prick, he makes my blood boil.
Besides Rafa is boss, will turn things around and go on to become one of the best managers the club has ever had

Could'nt agree more. I wonder if his supporters on here would be that happy as well because if he was here you would have to assume he would resort to his number 1 tactic
Diving and cheating.
It makes me sick just thinking about it.
Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24
Rafa makes mistakes and never acknowledges any of them. If our players were so **** then they should never have been bought let alone played. With the exception of our captains drive we created nothing never mind the bull**** rafa spoke after the game...as bad as houllier that.
Rafa is under immense pressure to deliver - looking at the fixture list upto xmas in terms of both the league and europe they are ALL must win games.
Rafa with his rotating and principles of hard work before flair team selections will not come anywhere near achieving winning all or even most of our league games. Winning our last 3 europe games is also a tall ask.
My fear is that we'll be out of everything by Xmas and January's transfer window will be too late. The knives are out, by this time next year the rafalution may be over with the majority of us asking for his head.
Istanbul is fading fast. The game on Wednesday was as bad as anything under Houllier.

Rafa is no Houllier and he'll do what he thinks needs to be done to correct that. Houllier was forced out mostly because of the fact that the pressure from us supporters was untenable and there it reached a point of no return and the players couldn't perform to the best of their abilities. It needed a clean break. Let's not make the same mistakes. We should back Rafa and the team 100%.
i see very little correction going on amigo. he changed nothing on wednesday and seemed like a man that had run out of ideas then came out and gave an interview that i found very much in the manner of houllier.
I always back the team but we were piss poor on wednesday, our league form this season is not good and we're already losing ground.
As for backing rafa, the hicks quote in todays papers seems to me that he has to win the league this year or else...
Its about time we had an owner that doesn't live off memories of yesteryear.

But if you go to Anfield you should back the team 100%, not boo. If not, don't go at all.
Rafa probably doesn't have players in form to give him a solution to our attacking problems. Stevie is running his socks off (even though he's himself suffering from a lack of it) and taking responsibility for everything in our attacking play. Other players should up it too.

If he was our graceless, arrogant, moany prick, most of us would love his antics.
