We were playing a team that were no better than the likes of Blackburn and Middlesborough.

When people take their rose tinted glasses off they will notice Babel spent most of the night doing an impression of Cisse, Voronin couldn't hit a bulls ass with a hand full of rice, (Kuyt aint much better), defensive frailties are becoming a huge concern, Hyypia is too old Carra needs to get out of a habit of standing with his hand in the air appealing for offside and lastly Rafa needs to stop being so pig headed and admit Crouch fetches more to the team than Voronin and Kuyt, he has a great touch and can help to create more opportunites, he is not an impact player from the bench.

How long has it been since we played a decent game of football, i.e playing it about like Arsenal and Utd, instead of hoofing it from the back like Bolton or crossing from deep where attackers have to generate power and direction on the ball, which none of the avaiable ones really have the ability.

Overall we are a poor side who do not have the ability to win a competition over 38 games and this season are struggling to win a knockout competition.

He's had a budget, not unlimited pools of money to work with. It's building bit by bit I'd say. We're swapping the CL for the league this season. It's clear for me. The focus has not really been there. Tactically we've been too cavalier in Europe.
