THose with a reasonable memory will recall that about 3 months into his first season I declared that Rafa was the Spanish Eric Morecambe.

I stated that he was clueless, we would never win the league under him and that we would be at this point sooner or later.

If the players cant pass, why is the manager picking them?

Rafa deserves more time.

He has only been on financial terms for one transfer window.

IMHO all the players he has bought since the new owners came are top class players that can go with us to the top.

The youth system is looking very good indeed and the interview with the new technical director for the academy was very interesting.

I am personally sure that we are not playing like Rafa wants us to play.
We show in patches good football but that is not enough.

IMO Rafa is asking the team to play more free flowing pass and move this season then he has in the past. That is gonna take time to get better.

I will however agree that the team does not seem to be doing what he wants most of the time. To often the players who dont have the ball just stand and watch, and dont run into spaces.
Why they dont do as they are told is the big question. But like I said, Rafa deserves more time.

1. They where still our best players.

2. IMHO they where not, the players where not doing what is expected of them.

3. I am not really sure about this one but my guess is, Crouch is not a pass and move player. He is our striker for our kick and run.

4. Yes, personally I dont get everything he does. But he deserves much more time IMHO.
