Rafa is beginning to sound like Houllier with his number of shot on/off goals thing.

The only reason to why we have so many shots is that we don't have enough movement off the ball and that we are not creative enough to create clear cut chances so we are left with one option left, shot the ball from a long distance and a difficult angle.

If I remember right we had the most shots on goal in almost every season with Houllier.

The harsh reality is, we have been riding our luck in recent weeks. I wish he would select what he deems is our strongest 11 and replace when injuries dictate as opposed to being pig headed about this rotational system.

THose with a reasonable memory will recall that about 3 months into his first season I declared that Rafa was the Spanish Eric Morecambe.

I stated that he was clueless, we would never win the league under him and that we would be at this point sooner or later.
