any 2 strikers with pace would be more effective! whan I said sign 'Bryan Habana', he'd probably actually do a better job! What does that tell us!Originally posted by looprevil View PostForward line of Torres and Babel would be very effective IMO.
I think 1 player out of Kuyt, Crouch and Voronin will be gone in January.

The Kuyt - Voro partnership just simply doesn't work. They are too similar and Kuyt in particular just isn't a goal threat. His workrate is excellent and he's got a decent all round game but he doesn't have anything to really worry top class defences.
The pair of them have no pace so defences can hold a high line knowing that they won't be done for pace. This allied with a lack of genuine width makes us too easy to defend against.
Without torres playing i'd play Babel upfront as at least he's got pace to worry defenders. Also Crouch must be utilised more. He;s not being rotated, lets face it, he's virtually never plays.
Kuyt must be sold asap and if Rafa won't use Crouch then so must he. Voronin is ok as 3rd/4th striker but we badly need someone who can lead the line when torres is rested/injured.AKA Heighway No9

Well said sums it up perfectlyOriginally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostThey’re a dreadful partnership. My heart sank when I saw the team. I can’t think of a more skill-less, pace-less and impotent LFC strike-force for a long, long time.
Crouch & Morientes was a rubbish pairing but at least one of them scored goals.
I’d like to see the list of games in which they’ve started up front together. I know they started against Birmingham. Everton was an exception, I reckon,
They are horrible players to watchWhen you feel like you're done, you are not alone........

To be honest, Crouch hasn't done himself any favours when he has been given the chance either. And I am not thinking about form, more about his lack of effort in my eyes.
He would have been perfect yesterday, and how Rafa didn't put him on at Rafa half time (55 minutes) was a surprise to me.--== Because the gang and the government is no different ==--

Well, the rumored bust up between Crouch and Rafa may be true, at least it looks that way. I don't remember who reported it.Originally posted by tomasjj View PostTo be honest, Crouch hasn't done himself any favours when he has been given the chance either. He is better than Kuyt or Voronin but he still don't play more or less anything.
We need someone like Diego or Nasri to play behind Torres. Benayoun is our best option right now.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

And how about at least showing he deserves to be picked ahead of them when he gets on the pitch?Originally posted by Nic83 View PostSeriously, if you were crouch and you see thes 2 donks getting a game ahead of you weekin week out, you'd be pissed off to **** aswell. Sorry, he should be pissed, but mostly at himself.
Focus on what he can improve himself and make it impossible for Rafa to overlook him.--== Because the gang and the government is no different ==--
