    About what?

    Thats not one defeat!
Thats what has been coming for the last 8 or so games.

    Against Portsmouth we were rubbish,Spurs couldn't keep the ball,Everton same,Marseille pathetic,Porto culdn't keep the ball,Birmingham rubbish.......

We cannot keep hold of a football,we play far too many long balls,we bypass our own midfield,we have too many grafters in the team,Momo,Kuyt,Babel,Vorinin not good enough.

(I'm willing to accept that Vorinin and especially Babel may need some time)

But overall we look a poor side and it's looked like that for a while now.

Rafa must be dillusional, after the match saying we controled the game!!!

    Did we ****!!

    28 shots??
Dont let 28 tame shots from long range convince you we controlled a game FFS!!

To control a game you have to control the football,I can't remember the last time we strung 5 or 6 passes together.

Yeah well done Nicey you're the only true Liverpool fan here the rest of don't feel the same passion as you,kop on will you fella!!!

I'm not gonna sit idly by and be positive when there is **** all to be positive about,we're playing abismal lately and if we continue to play like that we'll be ripped apart by a decent side.

I fear for our chances against Arsenal this weekend, hopefully Torres,Alonso and Agger will be back to save our blushes!!
    Et tu, Brutus?
There is a light that never goes out. RIP Alan "Mally" Johnston and the 96. YNWA.

No passion, no commitment and the ultimate sin for on the players no loyalty. Watching them Turkish fans jump up and down and waving there arms about like a mentalist who has just found a new pile of kak, reminded me of how quite Anfield is on most League days. How negative people are online and how utterly depressing this section of the fanbase make it for others to follow our beloved Liverpool FC. When I was a member of that site which will not be mentioned I used to go to there matchday chatroom every Liverpool game, it was kind of a good luck ritual. I lost count the amount of time “fans” would be all over the team when we are 1 – 0 down only to change there tune at 3-1 full time. The number of times I have said We are having this you wait Only for the boys to come good and there dissenters to quietly log off and disappear into night with not the slightest hint of ok credit were credit is due.
These Turkish fans sang till there lungs fell out of there arses for the full 90 minutes, cheering on there lets face it **** football team to a famous victory. Our fans who have seen their team literally win every single trophy in the game bar one in the last ten years, reach two Champions Lg finals in 3 years a UFEA Cup final victory, you would be lucky to get two verses of a song and only after we have scored a goal. Visting fans to Anfield now regularly take the piss out of our Home support which is just too embarrassing for words. Its like someone coming to your gaff and just laughing at your misus’s furniture.
And then you go online and sweet baby Jesus fish cakes the hordes of doom Sayers just lie there in wait, looking for anything to latch onto to have a go at the team. About a month ago I said if Pepe had two bad games people on here would be calling for him to be sold and I guarantee that would happen . Rafa makes a very gutsy call last week taken off the club captain and replacing him with a player who basically won us the game, hes reasons were very sound and initially went over most peoples heads, does he get credit, Does he ****.

No No same old miserable depressing Liverpool fan support, Rafa’s mad, how dare he take Stevie G off. Same people 2 weeks previous were saying Rafa does not have the bollox to drop Gerrard. No doubt Hypia will get the special Anfield faithful treatment now. A legend of player who has been nothing but a rock for Liverpool for years and years .. playing out his career with the club he used to captain and sure getting caught out a couple of times, but will any of amazing amount of medals and trophy’s count for anything will it ****, who cares.

I have been posting online in Liverpool forums for perhaps 5 years now and I have noticed that all the people who speak sense eventually just give up been active contributors because like clockwork every matchday someone find something to negative about usually the majority of contributions. Even when we win by clear margins there will be yeah but the manner of the victory was not good enough. Some of the stuff I have read online has been truly shocking, Jammie Carragher will only ever be a squad player, Pepe is a liability not to mention some of the sick references to Geds illness by his own fans.
I have the upmost respect for our travelling section always put on a performance you could be proud of. There are countless fans online who really know there stuff when it comes to football analysis but overall I have to say its all a bit Wooaa is me at Liverpool FC and I place that firmly at the foot of the fans doorstep. Every year Rafa has delivered a massive prize to this club, his first year wad the biggest prize in club football, his nay sayers said it was a fluke, he nearly did it again 2 years later. Some fans of the biggest football clubs in the world can only dream of a Champions Lg final we’ve had two in 3 years. If we are not good enough in Europe this campaign then so be it. I have faith in Rafa, the fans I am not so sure.

            LFC

Taking the rough with the smooth is what being a football fan, not just an LFC fan is all about.

The reason i vent my anger on this site is nothing to do with being a part time supporter, it's more to do with it being a channel to air your frustration. If i kept it in i'd be mightily pissed off at home which then disrupts your family life.

The Charlesmason post made me laugh and i decided to exit last night on that high note.

As to going to game, i agree it's a bit of a pisser when you go to games against the less glamorous teams and you don't get that special atmosphere, but i really believe it's up to the team and how they play to get you as a fan in to a frenzy of excitement and song. That is one the problems with this Liverpool team, they play with this gusto very rarely.

The Chavs for example for all of their winning could not sell out their stadium every game, this may be to do with their poor support or if we are to believe Roman more to do with the style of football, in fact Roman got rid of maureen for a more exciting style of football.
                We come not to play.

It is a sign of our class that we will not sack Rafa, we will give him every opportunity to come good, and I think he will. (Its just a shame that some of our support doesnt think the same!) In fact I have complete faith he will.

                    Just to clarify...

Are you suggesting that people who get pissed off and moan about ****e performances/results DONT support the reds through thick and thin?

Out of interest, if we finished 5th for 2 seasons running, would you still think "nah it's ok, he will come good..." ?

it was their cup final last night - beating the team that conquered istanbul on that night and still the most famous team ion the world - hence the atmosphere

but i do agree our supporters are quiet these days - that has been happening for a few years mind

I have supported the Reds all my life. My first match was in the early 70s when we were going through a transitionary period. I don't support us because we were (or are) successful but because we were my local team and the one my father and uncles supported. Therefore I will continue to support Liverpool "through thick and thin" whether we're Champions, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th or even if we were relegated.
