Hear, hear. The attacking options Rafa has signed, with the exceptions of Torres, have all been distinctly and painfully average. Crouch, Kuyt, Pennant, Voronin are all of of mid-table standard at best, not Liverpool quality althoguh Crouch defintiely can offer something as a squad member. I know restrictions on money has played a part up to now but we really have to start signing players of Torres standard, otherwise we're just running to stand still all the time. And the yanks need to stump up big style, they haven't really broken the bank so far if you look at the net spending, despite what all the monkeys in the media keep spinning.

But signings are just one part of it. Everyone is so busy frothing about rotation and signings to notice the biggest impediment to our progress - Rafa's inflexible, negative focus on clean sheets and defence, to the detriment of our attacking edge. That's the number one thing that has to be sorted because you can put all the quality signings you like into the squad and if we're set up to not concede first and foremost, with scoring as an after thought, it won't matter a shiny ****e.

we do need another forward as good as Torres, but you still need at least 4 strikers.
