I think today proved how much we missed Alonso over the last six weeks or so.

If Agger is back next week then that's a bonus I suppose - does anyone know the update on Torres too?
Not sure about Torres, but I thought by the way Sky were talking, that he could be forced to miss a few more games. I didn't hear properly what they were saying mind.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

I think Torres will be out a few weeks, If Crouch doesn't get a go then Rafa needs his head looking at

Bobbins - we went to pieces because it was late in the game, the inevitable full on arsenal attack began and we had Arbeloa in central midfield instead of a natural midfielder. Alonso was poor all game.

Really? OK then, if he did say it he just sealed his departure.

                    Cheers mate

                    Aaaaargh

Actually if you look at our injuries this season - still being undefeated in the League with an average of two points a game, doesn't seem too bad

Didn't understand why he didn't just put Arbeloa at LB, push riise up to LW and have stevie and mash in the middle

He never has anything positive to say about Alonso. Attention seeking again! :whatever:

                            you are right though.
Look at the mancs, they stuttered early on this season, now they have their players back, Rooney & Ronaldo(suspension) and even HArgreaves, they are playing their best stuff. Injuries obviously will play their part. Hopefully we can get a bit more luck for the rest of the season.

****, I thought he was the key for us, once he went off we couldnt keep possession for long. But I agree, the formation looked good, Torres should be the focal point, have Babel and another with pace up there and we are on.
