A couple of things worth mentioning - Gerrard is bound to say he likes playing with Xabi - every player will be complimentary about everyone else at the club. Someone mentioned also that we only looked bad and conceded when Xabi came off....hmmmm, we were tired already from chasing the ball all afternoon and had to make do with a full back in midfield for the last part of the game - bugger all to do with Xabi's departure.
I'm just glad my specs aren't as rose tinted as some of you guys - at least I won't be finding new straws to clutch at when returns and things don;t really change much.

If it's true that he will be out for around a month then it's better than expected. If he had broken the same bone as last time then he could have been out 3-4 months according to my girlfriend. She is a nurse and works with all kind of foot injuries so I guess that she should know.

Yeah, I couldn't believe some people here were saying that it was time he went and that he was "too slow", "not enough of a goal threat", "overrated", "not played a good game since his first season" etc.

Xabi is a cracking player and we're seeing it now that we're missing him. Also, Sissoko is a really really good player next to Alonso, a very poor one next to any of our other midfielders. So when losing Alonso we're really narrowing our options down big time.

I doubt that Sissoko will play that much before he is sold in January. He hasn't played since he said that he wanted to join Juventus.

It will be Lucas that will replace Alonso IMO.

I hope you lads are right, id love to see Lucas get regular games in the Xabi role - I just feel with Rafas cautious nature and the fact that we arent playing well he'll play it safe and go with Momo.

She was involved in a car accident so I had to stay home very much, she is almost ok now. She collided with an elk with her car on the way home from work and got head injuries.



Sometimes life is a bitch. You can tell Rocket that he can happily get every elk in Sweden if he want.
