Sure Liverpool are a big club with big expectations but we've made a decent start to the season. We've had a few dodgy performances and results lately but the way the papers/pundits on sky sports etc are going on you would think we are in the relegation zone, have no hope of making the knockout stages of the champions league and generally our season is over.
    It's madness.
liverpool have many thousands of fans as someone has said it sells papers
that is why wank radio stations like tawk sport loave havin a pop at us - because then loads of people are desperate to get on and give it back

nothin new fella - i think when manure lose a few games its a disaster there too ?

I think it basically boils down to this, United Chelsea and Arsenal have all won the Lg, they get a lot more leeway in terms of time form quality etc because they have proven themselfs in the LG .. We although we have come close have not and the Press have zero patience with us .. That and the Football press mainly dont know there Arse from the Elbow ..

Was not very long ago they were Hammering Wenger .. and I mean putting him to the sword .. any fool and his monkey could see he was building a team and probally manufactering Millions upon Millions in future transfer fees ... Did his prevous record or achievments matter .. Did they **** .. he got both barrels from the Press and a lot of Arsenal fans were callling for his head, Now once again he has found his water feet and all is good because they are winning games ...

Why do they change there minds so quickly ... Because they are a bunch of useless ***** who are only happy when everything is rosey

Shiftless windbags the lot of them, I remember last year the "pundits" getting stuck into Wenger and thinking you useless ***** .. what have you ever done in the game ..your a ****ing ex football with probably no GCSE's, played for some ****ty 1st division team and now you work one or two days a week wanking on about how a Manager who has won the Lg and never finished outside of the top 2 for 7 odd years is past it ..

            I basically agree with

"The scum hate us for our dominance in the 70's and 80's and they just cant stand our 5 X The bitters and the FA hate us for Hysel
The S*n hate us for the boycott
Andy Gray hates us cos he is a bitter bluenose at heart
Chelski hate us cos we have a history"

I think sadly generally a lot of people don't like Liverpool supporters and Scousers in general.
We haven't won the league for years, yet get offended if we're not considered title contenders.
The smaller clubs are jealous of the money we spend each year, on yet another ""final piece of the jigsaw" and think if they had such riches, they'd do better.

And in recent years, to the neutral supporter our style of play hasn't been as attractive as the likes of Arsenal or Man U, with our main achievements more down to collective hardwork and occasional Stevie G rescues, rather than attacking flair and dazzling creative performances.

              It's our turn.

The scum were hated for a time and the chavs.
There is no real high profile news out there so the pigs with the pens have to stir things up with their scribbled bile.

Rafa and Liverpool are high profile - Jol/Allerdyce and co. are not.
Do you think anyone would care about Gollums thoughts on a ref if it didn't involve us?

Liverpool have 100's of millions of fans around the world (I use the word 'fans' generally as I know some of you do not beleive they are) where S** sell their product, and they use the old saying 'no such thing as bad publicity' the other way around - for their needs NOT the person in focus.

They need us - we turn their crap into gold.

Plus the media relies on stories, and audience response.

It's more of a story that a team has spent big and not got success, or when a manager doesn't deliver and when there's a big money man above him at the club. The Mourinho Abramovich saga was well reported in the media, and the journos all had their knives out when the Glazers took over at Man U, saying how it would ruin the club.

When we had a bad start last season, Zonal marking was an easy thing to focus on. When our defence became one of the meanest in the league, it was a triumph of Rafa's tactics.
Now we're dropping points, it's the rotation policy that they're latching onto. Yet if that rotation meant we were able to sustain a lasting title and cup challenge, then again there'll be no-one criticising the boss.
