Well, they're far nicer pubs anyway, not your rent a dozen theme bars that dominate Bristol City Centre and most of Cardiff.

You don't have to look out for the ******s looking for a fight, and for the single chaps the chicks aren't 95% skank.

ANYWAY, for the record I was looking to wind some Welshmen up this morning, caught one but not the other. I go to Cardiff now and again for a change anyway for a day/night out - it's not THAT bad , but I prefer Bath or Cheltenham.

      It's better than Swindon.

I live smack in the middle of Cardiff and Swansea and can confirm that Swansea is a far better night out

Whatever you think of Cardiff City (and I can't stand them despite Fowler going there) Cardiff is one of the best cities in the UK, and THE best place I've ever been to for watching a cup final. It has places of real beauty, along with great facilities and a fantastic stadium.

I can't wait to go there again in February for the rugby, and hope I can get tickets for the Ashes test there in two year's time. Wonderful place.

personally i think they should've kept the carling cup final there

            Anyway, it was Rochdale reserves.'

couldn't disagree more - the people you are with should determine how good the night out is and going into town won't make it any better. city centre's attract too much chav based trouble and are THE place for poofy trendy beers and fancy snacks. going to the less fashionable/populated drinking establishments is the way to go. unless of course you are a short arsed chav with small man syndrome whose idea of a good night out ends with a kebab and a punchup.

                              You've met Rocket then

You're right about the bars/pubs by the way and definitely right about the company.
