I honestly don't care what anyone else thinks of Liverpool supporters mate.

But to compare to the two sets of supporters...well, there's no comparison. They're one of the very worst and the annual arrests table proves that.

fella, all sets of fans have their share of pricks. plenty of liverpool fans caused problems when they used to come to cardiff for the cups.

tbh you cant get on your high horse rocket mate. Although i'd agree Shaggy is well out of order slagging off cardiff fans per se, he's right when we compare the two.
Lets face it there's loads more Kopites going to Cardiff than th other way round, and I've been every time we went down there. I never saw trouble down there once [although I'd happily admit I can't be everywhere in the city!] Last night we saw the other way round - about 5-6000 Cardiff fans came up and ran riot in various pubs around the ground and all along Scotty Road on their way up from Lime Street. I haven't seen a police presence outside the ground [at the Kop end] like it for many a year [probably 20].
And as for inside the ground - well I can't say I'm overly bothered that they got in the Main Stand and the Centenary in such numbers - it's happened before and usually adds to the atmosphere. However, last night most [not all] in the Main Stand by me [dont ask - forgot to tick the box for me Seasie in the Kop] were complete knobheads. Normal folks were getting abused something rotten, and i had two young kids sitting near me who looked a bit scared by the whole thing. Not sure if they'll be keen to come back soon, and thjis is partly my worry. There were a lot of non-regulars at the game last night - how many will be put off by the experience?

I'm obviously not tarring every CCFC fan with the same brush, and nor am I just slagging the Welsh off. I'm talking about the rather large hardcore of Cardiff (sorry, Soul Crew ) hoolies.

I've been to about four Cardiff games and every single time I've seen it kick the **** off. I've been right in the middle of it.

Naturally this is a 'minority' but their 'minority' is pretty ****ing big. They have considerably more ****s than most. The fact they're always so high up the banning order and arrests lists, with such a relatively small fanbase, speaks volumes for the sheer number of grade A whoppers among their support.

It was totally predictable that Rocket was gonna react and stick up for the pricks - although that's just a misguided sense of patriotism. It's **** all to do with them being Welsh - they're just *****, full stop.

fella, i know the trouble they can cause, plenty of them also follow Wales, and my season ticket is in the middle of the fairly hardcore element, the type that face the wrong way during the game and chant stand up if you hate england

just shaggy using his i don't care about what people think of liverpool fans arguement is a bit daft.

Well I don't - and why should I? Couldn't care less whether people think we're scum or not. I know we're not -far from it - and that's all that matters, but at the same time I don't buy into this "best fans in the world" stuff.

I also know there is absolutely NO comparison between LFC's travelling support and Cardiff's. I can only comment on Cardiff's away support as I've only seen them "in action" away from home, and, thankfully, have never been to Ninian Park.

I'm glad you cleared that up.

I'm agreeing with you, although i can't say i agreed with your slagging off the league of wales in your high handed manner. Not every country can have a Premiership, and i know blokes who spend every weekend travelling up and down Wales to watch their team. I look UP to them not down - thats ****ing dedication for you!

Well in that sense I agree - my old man follows a League Two team home and away.
