What are peoples expectations

I like a balance.

Some of my friends slag me about LFC playing borong football and I counteract that Arsenal and UTD are sometimes TOO attacking. Barcelona are another example and have suffered recently because of it.

A balance is what's needed but you can't fill your team full of battlers and workers when you obviously have more quality than your opposition. If you have more quality, USE IT but set your team out to suit the game.

The problem is we didn't look a threat until the last 15 odd minutes. We know what we are capable of. We outplayed Chelsea in what I would call our best performance against a top side with all their players fit.

Granted, not a full out blitzing performance but at least some sort of attacking performance

Forget even passing and moving.

We don't even attack. We look dross compared to these two titanic teams. I dare to imagine how we would fair up against these two in their back yards.

I must admit, I like a mixture between passing and direct football. I think it's the most effective and I like the target man / pacey player combo up front with one winger and one who (benayoun type) who likes to drif into the hole leaving space for the fullback (riise)to provide the width on that side.
