    Rafa should break the bank to sign him. Quality player who deserves a start every match alongside Gerrard. Hardly puts a foot wrong
    Sell Sissoko and use the money to finance the Mascherano deal ?

    If we don't sign him permanently it would be a mistake. Hopefully all will be sorted out before the summer.

          Mascherano was immense tonight. I'd like to keep Sissoko for the moment though. Sure he's in been in poor form of late, but you don't become a poor player overnight. He's a decent player to have in the squad, IMO.

                  I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

                    yeh mate, just my opinion like.Mascherano is a more complete player, Momo's passing leaves a lot to be desired.
                    Also, if Mascherano cost close to 20£ m then we can sell Sissoko and use some of that money to keep him.

                        Fair enough. I agree that Mascherano is a much better player, but I'd like to see Sissoko regain his form and be kept as a squad player.

                        Also, we wouldn't have to change the words in our song.
