Keegan on his way back to us?

from a man managment point of view Keegan would be great and also couldn't see him having any issues being the no2.

but from a tactics points of view very similar to having a chocolate fire guard.

We need a number 2 and think Keegan would be good

never mind all this jewell for no.2 or keegan, what we really need is to tempt ian rush back...if not as assistant then atleast bring him back to coach the strikers, just think what he could do with crouch, voronin, and kyut. they all good players who cant score loads of goals....rush could help them out! he was striking coach under houllier for a short while and was a success so why not now?

Rushy didn't do too much when he was brought back last time did he. He hardly helped Diouf out although to be fair, he was probably beyond help!

Unlike Keegan Gary Mac has never failed in Management, his tenure at Coventry was sadly cut short due to his wife's tragic illness.

If internet rumours can be believed he was in fact offered a coaching role with us some time back, but he decided that it was too soon to uproot his children, so soon after the loss of their mother

I have no idea if we would go back for him now.

As for Keegan I’m sure I read somewhere he said he wouldn’t be getting back to football with any club as he was enjoying these soccer schools he’s running.

I believe I read something along those lines, think it was last weekend, said he was doing just fine with his business, also said he didn't have a huge interest in football anymore

yup, that's my understaning as well. If he can pass some tips onto our kids then that'll be cool allround for us.

like others have said KK does coaching with kids up and down the country and it's good to use someone of his experience and status. Some of you guys have got short memories, there would be no modern Liverpool without Keegan, he was Shankly's talisman, if it wasn't for Keegan there'd have been no Dalglish. And as for his failed management actually look what he did for Newcastle, where they were when he took over to what they became, and then he did it again with Fulham and then with City. He is a legend and I for one welcome him back to Anfield
