Good bit of business this, he'll probably be the England no 1 soon, but that'll be simply by default because Paul Robinson is so incredibly ****e, unlike Carson, Reina has a genuine command of his area and Carson was never going to dislodge him, take the money and wish him all the best.

                Definitely
And Reina has a proper fodder as well. Carson has a weird hairline, although at least it wasn't cut by his mum as Kirkland's obviously was.

I've got to disagree with the majority of people when they see he's a good/great keeper. I'm pretty sure he didn't have one decent game for us and at the time people were saying we'd paid too much for him - which actually seemed true. If anyone is stupid enough to pay anywhere near that kind of money then we must take it and run like the wind!

I have a free reign with "proper football", as she calls it, but I am almost instantly pulled-up on reserve or youth team football. Gutted.

She thinks I'm mad for wanting to watch "a load of kids play in what looks like a park game, with pretend Liverpool shirts on"

£9m profit is very good for a squad player.

I wonder if the chairmen will have to put any money in for transfers now?

Scott Carson has revealed that we've agreed a fee and tersm with Liverpool over the permanent transfer of Scott Carson.

He's quoted on the BBC Football wesbite as saying "I think the clubs have agreed something where, if everyone is happy, my move could be made permanent and it is something I would welcome. I would prefer to establish myself as a number one at Villa."

It's great news for us that a quality young international keeper would rather establish himself at Villa Park than Anfield. It's an ideal piece in MON's plans for Villa and more the sort of player we should be signing than Marlon Harewood.

It should be a good boost for Carson to play even better for Villa and let's hope he keeps a clean sheet at the Sty tomorrow. Sorry about that, but Damian's Villa Blog Dictionary is still locked in Sty mode.
