I hope people would SHUT THE FOOK UP about Rafas rotation policy cos today they all looked knackered(apart from Gerrard & Hyypia) after Tuesdays game.
The team looked sluggish but class showed at the end and we won. Walk on and let RAFA pick the team.

Aye, totally agree. Sami rolled back the years today and deserves some extra credit. He's certainly keeping me quiet as to whether he is "past it or not" just yet.

Its good to see we have character in leaving it late however against teams like Fulham we should have scored a lot earlier

I understand but the lack of ambition was showing from the first minute, we should have buried them

                They defended well.

Fella, did you have the right channel on? we never stopped attacking them

Only good defending/goalkeeping/paniccy finishing from us and bad luck prevented us getting another shed load.

I know its fashionable to criticise at the moment but give credit where its due fella when we play well, you will earn more respect. And you could do with a bit of that to be fair

At times but their fullbacks were obviously the weak links. Riise didn't do enough of the opportunities presented to him to make an impact

I think today must've been the first time Rafa made exactly the substitutions that I (and everybody else) was screaming for. I was convinced Torres would come on for Crouch, and I thought Yossi would come off for Babel. But I was wrong, and thank goodness.

                        His changes changed the game.

I meant Fulham, not Liverpool's lack of ambition

I don't care whether I get respect from you anyway. You seemed to have hated me from day one so :whatever:

So do we credit Rafa for leaving Torres on the bench and making a great substitution, or does he get slated for not starting him?

I think sometimes a player can read the game better from the bench and make more of an impact when he comes on.

Look at Solskjaer for the Mancs.

                            Quote Wiki..

Alex Ferguson remarked that Solskjaer has a knack of sitting on the bench and studying the game without taking his eye off the action.
One of his most impressive feats was coming off the bench to score four goals in the last twelve minutes of United's 8-1 thrashing of Nottingham Forest.

Not that Torres can be anyway compared and will probably start most games without having to watch from the bench.

But to those players that have to sit it out for a bit.

                            Watch the GAME!!!!

Exactly what I was going to post.

I said Babel for Riise and Torres for Voronin to my mates and was amazed when he did that. It was so obvious and logical to everyone but you just thought that Raffa would do something strange

Even Lucas for Mascher was clear cut too.

Add that to the unchanged team and I can't believe that Raffa's been that 'ordinary'.

Excellent team performance even when we just couldn't score. I for one was confident it would come.

What a goal. Torres is superb. Simply stunning!

                              Come on reds!!

                                Torres is the real deal

Voronin was excellent, really impressed by his game. Great result.
Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24
