So true, Five Live comms were still banging on about it 70 mins into the 2nd half when we were still at 0-0 - Rafa can't win!

In addition, they were nattering on about why Torres didn't start (after he scored) - didn't they watch the Arsenal game when he aggravated his injury (and looked off the pace)???

      In Rafa We Trust.

Next week Torres,Babel or Gerrard may be the weak link.

I don't think we looked knackered but we certainly went much more narrow. They have a thing on Setanta that shows where players spend their time in a game and it showed Yossi as being almost a central striker.

We are a much better side when we have wide players that stay wide, as McManaman said on the telly this also creates more room in the middle for Gerrard to burst into. Some of our attack broke down tonight because Yossi was in there alongside Gerrard, Crouch and Voronin.

Riise also had a shocker of a game. If we had a quality left-mid and a right-mid that stayed on the wings we'd have opened them up a lot better.

Risse may have had a shocker but it`s not indicactive of this season playing for us.

Benayoun has picked up a groin injury and according to Rafa is almost certainly out of the international games.

Good for us in a way and it means the whole of England F.C won't be relying on him against Russia.

                      What a PITY!!!!

I hope all our international players have a two week minor injury.

                      Internationals should be scrapped.

you forgot aurelio...he a better option than riise too.
People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

Arbeloa is also a better option at left-back.

Riise would be useful back-up for me but I don't think he's got much of a future at all. I think he'll be gone by the summer at the latest.

He's been abysmal this season. And last.

I got in from the match hours ago but I havern't been able to get online until now. The boys were superb today. Kept going and had alot of drive from start to finish. Fulham were really holding on at the end. Torres is by far and away the best striker we've had at this club since Owen. His movement, composure and control changed the game for us.

                                I'm still buzzing!
