      Sounds like a fair reason.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

So what did the Bascombe e-mail say. Care to put a transcript of it up in here?

It would be unfair to divulge conversations with Chris Bascombe, how did you know about that? For the record I didn't contact him, he PM'd me on TLW. He is a good mate of Dave U.

It would explain why Parry suddenly is acting like the peace keeper.

I saw someone mention it on here.

Fair enough for not wanting to post the e-mail in here, mate.

Care to give us a run down of what was said then? When do they want him out? Who do they want in to replace him etc...

A few carefully chosen words could kill all the speculation stone dead and get everyone's focus back on winning the important matches ahead. The silence is working to the team's detriment at the mo IMO.

He felt that many of us were having a go at him without knowing the facts and just told me what he KNEW as fact. I can assure you that Chris's sauce is the best you can possibly get.

                      I have no problems sharing.

                      1. He said the owners promised a lot of cash when they took over but this didn't materialise and Rafa was surprised - hence the post Athens rant.

                      2. He said the two owners don't get on which is a FACT but Rafa going public with internal matters has bought them closer together.

                      3. He said they are determined to sack Rafa and will do it soon, failing that at the end of the season as they simply don't like him or his antics. (this obviously isn't taking into account the fans fury).

                      4. He said the only thing that can save Rafa is a "change in ownership" - I don't know what he means by this, could one of the owners sell up? I don't know.

                      5. He said Rafa does too much himself - stuff which are not his concern, which gets Parry's back up and now the owners are pissed off with it too.

                      6. Mourinho is just one of the candidates.

Putting all the speculation about Parry to one side. Has anybody thought that Parry may have asked the owners and Rafa to keep schtum and not go talking about the situation in public because he feels that if we say nothing the speculation will die down and eventually the press will have something else to write about.

As such he thinks it best to lead by example and not go blabbing to the press...

If Parry, Hicks and Gillett move to sack Rafa, I'd like to see their reasons for doing so. I'm astonished by this saga.

Yeah, but if that is the case then it is another misjudgment from Parry as the speculation is not dying down, and it's just adding more pressure as the stories will continue that Rafa is one defeat away from the sack, unless we win all games until 16 Dec, inc in CL and against Man U.

Fits in what I have heard from my friend. Hicks was interested in buying Roma but Sensi don't want to sell to a foreigner.

Gillett want Hicks out according to my friend.
