Well all the pundits bare a ever decreasing small handful just do my head in, We score 14 odd goals in our last 3 games and its because all 3 teams are ****e, the fact that Porto were top of the Champions Lg Group and Unbeaten Domestically with only letting in less than a handful of goals in all competitions has nothing to do with it ...
Its a lose lose situation, lose and we were shockingly bad, win and we were lucky or ok or the other team were bad.
You cant have it your own way for 90 minutes against top opposition, Porto are an excellent team, we played very well at times and overall I am happy with that performance.
Cant stand the press.. and ****ing hate seeing Rafa under so much pressureAnybody who criticizes Klopp ever is a James Blunt. Nov 2015

While Gray was going on about how **** we were, Martin Tyler did point out to him that, before this game, Porto had conceded 7 goals in all competitions this season.
Porto are an excellent side, good enough to give any team in this competition a go. We weren't at our best, which is clearly understandable considering the events of the past week, but we still put 4 past them."The definition of insanity is not running into the same wall again and again; it's expecting a different result every time you do it."

I think the anxiety and the pressure helped in us being below par. If we'd played more freely it could have a cricket score.

havent seen any sky coverage but iOriginally posted by kop-al-74 View PostAndy Gray was spot on with his analysis tonight. We were poor for large parts of the game and we will need to play better against Marseille to guarantee we go through.
For a bluenose,he does give us credit when it's due.
Or do you want everyone to cream there pants whenever we play whether they support us or not?
andy gray is not as biased as some reds say
and even if he was we arent exactly short of ex red bias on telly are we ?

that's true yeah. these rte pundits are a ****ing joke. they make andy gray look good and that really says it all!Originally posted by PaulLinehan View Post
on RTE, giles is a ****in useless fool. I remember once when bill o herlihy ws asking him about scott parker, who was playing for chelsea at the time, and giles didnt have a ****in clue who he was on about. He actually said, and this is no ****in word of a lie, that "paul parker has been doing it for years bill" - now i dont know about you, but paul parker was nearing the end of his career when scott parker was still in those mcDonalds tv ads. And how you mix up the two is ****in beyond me anyway.... also, the geriatric prick was an ireland player manager years ago and he was ****in ****e at it.... so how he has the neck to come out and say how ****e staunton or kerr or whoever is ****in beyond me.... what a ****in spanner head!
Dunphy is pure comedy. He is pissed half the time and he goes on about how players like mascherano are "not real liverpool players" - eh....hmmmm great defensive midfielder with 30-odd caps for argentina when he is 23 years old. good man eamon - how'd you get on as a millwall player anyway you ****in mummy-faced prick....

alan green is the best commentator about imoOriginally posted by garymac View PostI listened to the Five Live commentary and had Greeny and Chris Waddle going up several octaves every time they had the ball.
They absolutely shredded Sami as well.
Even then, it wasn't as bad as having to suffer Andy Gray!

Gray is annoying in that if we play badly but win, the opposition are poor and played badly, and we'll have to play much better than that next week against whoever. If we win comfortably the score flatters us.
If you compare that to the scum or the chavs, when they play badly and win that's the sign of a good team someone who can win the league. When they win comfortably they were sensational and could have won by more.
I've got so used to it I just ignore it now!The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I can well believe that. Word on the street is that he has 32 lifesize cardboard cut outs of Shearer all in all - he keeps one in every room in his house. Dont shoot the messenger....Originally posted by PaulLinehan View Postoh and by the way....i heard that andy gray wacks off to a lifesize cardboard cutout of alan shearer.........not sure if it's true or not but thats what i heard..........K ris90210

Paul, I agree with a lot of what you say about pundits (esp. RTE ones) but you're offside with the Houghton comments. If you ever talked to him you'd know that he is still a huge Red and only wants whats best for the club, like any fan. Maybe he doesn't voice it sometimes but he is trying to come across as unbiased for the television public. If you saw him off camera during a match you'd know where he stands.Originally posted by PaulLinehan View PostHoughton was some kind of coach at crystal palarse for a while but also ended up ****ed out on his arse. He is an awful prick if you ask me... he goes on and on about rafa's rotation and all that. Also, he rarely gives us credit when we do play well - against besiktas, after the game he went to town on how ****e besiktas were. Well ray, you ****in retard, rewind the footage to before the game and you said they were a handy side and that they could come away with a draw. Now either you don't know what the **** you are on about, or else you..........eh......you just don't know what the **** you are on about okay....
I recommend that you turn off the post-match punditry, esp. RTE's if it has this much of an effect on you
. They have become caricatures of themselves in an attempt to keep up the whole "aprés-match" persona. In truth they have become one-dimensional in their criticisms. You know they will criticise everything that can be criticised although they do have some kind of grudging respect for Rafa.
BTW, that Grey is reminiscent of a long forgotten tub of ejaculate that has fallen behind a widow's dressing table, who after ten years and, almost blind, finds it and thinking it's moisturiser slaps it on her wrinkled face only to feel slightly ill and increasingly itchy and by the days end gives up and falls into a deep sleep interrupted by conflicting feelings of self-importance and impotence.

I like Andy Gray. He used to be in my class. Very funny lad but got into the habit of nicking cars. He did some time for that. He is a painter and decorator now and is married. He seems to have settled down. I don't watch sky sports so I can't comment on the other fella =)"When Sir Henry broke a fast, you cursed double glazing."

Andy Gray last night.
Did anyone hear Andy Gray during the match last night, it was laughable. He was trying to explain how the scoreline flattered Liverpool, " anyone who just walked in would think it was a walkover ,but it was anything but" ,that type of thing. All positives were turned to negatives , he was fantastic.I was Riddler on Koptalk.
Wheres Tom numbers ???
