Okay so things are getting really tight at the top of the table now, given the cock up from the mancs last week it leaves it open for us to jump right up the table to 2nd, however unlikely.
First lets just point out that if we had the 3 points from our game in hand we'd be sitting second anyway right now, so our possible true position is quite a rarity going into december. However we've still no date for this game, the coming midweek probably would have been a good time but my best guess now is prob the first week in feb, but anyway.
This week we've got:
Chelsea(28pts) v West Ham
Wigan v Man City(29pts)
Mancs(30pts) v Fulham
Aston Villa v Arsenal(33pts)
So there's some possible tricky matches there, west ham will give Chelsea a run for their money, but with chelsea being at home best we can prob hope for is a draw, Wigan could be very unpredictable under new management so difficult to call, Villa will certainlky give Arsenal a tough test at home, mancs should really be expected to win tho, but we thought that last week as well.
So... assuming we're going to win, a draw or less for chelsea would see us go 4th, same applies if man city drop points, if both drop points we'll jump to 3rd. After that mancs would have to lose to see us go second, and Arse dropping points or even losing could see us close the gap to 3 points.
Bottom line is it's likely one of those teams will drop points somewhere this weekend so lets hope we get the result we need to capitalise.
Edit - also forgot to mention that the mancs play on monday, so whatever happens we could still end up in 2nd even if only for a few hrs
