Not even Roman can compete with them. A billion isn't that much money for them.

Another thing you would have to consider is the PR part. Only that would be worth a lot of money for them.

Welcome to the DIC stadium, the home of the greatest team on earth. If they make us successful then it will in return create a lot of good PR for them.

Please tell me you don't want the ground to be called that.

This whole fiasco shows how bad a choice Moores and Parry made.

I like GG but TH is a total ****** and not right for our club. With DIC possibly coming in - obviously Slick Rick will be on his way (3 or 4 years too late) but where will it leave David Moores? After (so called) turning his back on DIC for the yanks they're not going to be happy with him staying on are they?

Of course not, Anfield would be the name I want but that won't happen.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I think the talk recently is that he was in talks with Tottenham. He did confirm that he was looking at a PL team but wouldn't say who.

I would be very suprised if DIC came back to take us over. Also all this talk of it not being an onvestemtn for them is garbage, they exist to make money. I know the guy in charge said they wouldn't want that for LFC but that was just PR.

This would explain why Parry looked pissed off in that picture.

I doubt they would call it that, thats the name of the investment firm, why would they want to advertise that brand?

The main Dubai brand is probably dubai itself followed by Emirates, then theres the various construction companies like Emaar, otherwise why sponsor the stadium yourself and lose revenue, get another company to do it.

Mate it was a just a response to AFII, I know they wouldn't. I would hate to think the fun the scum would have had if they had taken us over.

Let just say for example that they buy the club for a billion. How would they make a profit on that?

No one know if the seven year plan they had is true or not. I find it very strange that the story appeared just before G&H made their bid.

Not a bad way to considerably weaken your worst rival.

Maybe when they say a billion it is in dollars? it would give a more realistic value of just under £500m

Or maybe he realised that the yogurt in his fridge is out-of-date.

                                No less plausible, is it?
