Got tickets for the Pool v man u game....

Truly made up.Last time i was up, was for the 2-2 against charlton end of last season.

Can usually only get tickets for those type of games but my mate has come through big time on this occasion.

Never been to a Liverpool v man u game and am really looking forward to it.

We usually get up earlyish and sink a few in the Arkles.I read somewhere that this is known as the away fans drinker but every time i have been there it's all red.

Does anyone else drink here?

Was thinking of staying up to see the Arse/chavski game before heading back south to avoid hours of traffic which is the norm.Any suggestions on the best place to watch it?

Last time it took us an hour just to get out of the school we parked in!

They dont let Utd fans in the Arkles mate but you do get some aways in there, you should park on one of the side streets off Priory Road much easier getting out, but if you are staying up for the Arsenal game it wont matter except they will lock the school up!!
It is truelly the most horrible game of the season to watch for me, i hate it, feel like **** all day before and am so hyper by kick off its unreal.

I know what you mean.I usually feel like that and thats watching the game on tv.God knows what i'll feel like at the ground.Still,thats what makes it all the more exciting.

I've sat with the United fans before. It's IMPOSSIBLE to control yourself. Obviously you don't go beserk but it will be obvious to everyone around you that you're a red. And when you don't join in on all the burning scousers and we won it 2 times without killing anyone songs, your cover will be well and truly blown.

Unless we win, I guarantee that it will be your worst ever footballing experience.

I'm not a fan of the Arkles but I suppose it's what you're used to and feel comfortable with. In the CL semi last year there were some horrible Chav fans in there. I don't like any pubs with away fans...they can f**k off and drink elsewhere as far as I'm concerned. It's the Albert for me. I've had some unforgettable sessions in there, including one of my most memorable moments as a Liverpool fan....pre the first CL semi against Chelsea. That will never ever be repeated. Incredible.
