I want Crouch to stay. Sure, he blows hot and cold in terms of his goalscoring form, but he's a good player. I think he can link up as well with Torres as Kuyt and Voronin can, and we know how useless Kuyt and Voronin are as a partnership.
Sure, he's not the greatest header of the ball, and he'll take stick about that for his entire career because of his height. He is a bit of an enigma...a 6 foot 7 striker who's better with his feet than his head. But he's an excellent team player, a smart player, technically solid, and leads the line better than the likes of Kuyt or Voronin. And, when crosses are played into the box, even though he's not the greatest header of the ball, he inevitably draws opposing defenders' attention because of his height, which can open up opportunities for others, especially seeing how the likes of Babel and Yossi like to get into the box.
He's not perfect, but he's a keeper in my book.
