    Sunday supplement on sky now

anyone watching this ****, it's really embarrassing some soft **** just reckoned rafa should be sacked if he doesn't win the title this season, because he'll have failed. These are the bell ends writing the articles that appear in the **** rags, and it really explains a few things.

To be fair one of the other fellas is arguing against the bell end

I believe he should be sacked if we don't challenge for the title this season.

That means being in real contention by the time teams have played 33 games or so. Not 13.

I think no matter what happens there will be a review at the end of the season with the Americans demanding that Rafa has improved the team with the signings he has made and the choices he has taken. I think that if we fail in the CL against Marseille he will probably have to win the league to stay. In general though I think that the international profile and the money from the CL mean that so long as we do well in that and qualify again for next year they will be less concerned about challenging for the PL.

Although that is a big assumption and I think they mostly want us to maintain our premium brand image and winning things is what will do that.

That was the gormless looking prick from the s*n who said Benitez should be sacked, Both Henry Winter and Steve Curry who are respected journalists pretty much told him he was talking bollocks and he shut up after that.

Yeah, I seen that. He said convincingly, 'He has had four seasons!' when talking about Rafa and Liverpool's mission to win the title. Idiot. And he was talking about chairmen and owners not being pressured to sack managers after a few poor results.

I liked what Henry Winter said about how he nearly joined the Rafa march on Wednesday because it would be plain stupid to sack Rafa.

Henry Winter IMO is the best journalist out there.

I think he spouts rubbish most of the time.

                    I agree.

However there are a couple who I like and I think give good opinions.

Henry Winter is the best one IMO. He seems to speak a lot of sense and see's the bigger picture.

But I would say that 99% of footballers can't write, so they couldn't the journalist job either. They can't even write their own autobiographies.

Why do you think so many of them end up on SSN or 5 Live? Most of them have trouble speaking properly (Dean Saunder, Chris Waddle to name two).
                      Oh I don't know.

You've forgotten the worst culprit - Paul Merson. No idea why they have him on tv, he can't even string an intelligible sentence together.

Bloody Dean Saunders is a horrific presenter. Whenever he is on anything everything he says seems to have to revolve around some tedious anicdote from his playing days. He was on Five live doing the Wigan match he seemed to only start sentences 'I said to the lad, well, as a former striker myself .....'

He does at least mostly talk about the football under consideration from the little I understand.

James Lawton of The Independent is usually pretty good.
