One of the reasons is Rafa has finally decided to drop Kuyt and play players who pose more of a threat on goal.

Great performance. Torres and Babel could've easily had another 2. Hope Carra's OK. Almost hope we can best Reading wthout strainign ourselves too much and leave plenty in the tank for Marseille & Scum. Big week for us next week. If we beat both Marseille & Scum, and Chelsea take something off Arsenal the same day, we could easily be top by the New Year.

Alan Green from 5 Live said the decision to take off Carra was to protect him from getting another booking. If he was to be booked, he would be suspended for the Scum game.

            We play Reading next.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I think that Gerrard is better than he has ever been. I always said that all our hopes is hanging on SG getting his engine fired up at CM. He is the very heart of the team. With him and Torres in gear the sky is the limit.

We have no other player who can do what Gerrard does at CM. Not even close.

We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert when the drugs began to take hold.

Looking at that: We have two tricky games, the Scum and Citeh.
The Arse: Chavs, Pompey and the Bitters
The Scum: Us, Sunderland (maybe) and Hammers
                        Chavs: Arse, Blackburn

So, each team has two dodgy games in December also you have to take into account squads tiring out in the Xmas period.

Earlier on in the season we were scoring for fun as well, dips in form, tough fixture schedule and lets be fair a lot of new players probably took a toll but despite that the organization got us through undefeated and now we are finding form again we look a class apart.

Torres brings a whole new dimension to us and its good that the rest of the team have a striker who they know will score if the supply is right, it is something we have lacked since Owen left and with our defence and midfield we are now bullying teams and killing them off.
Loved todays result because it is the type of fixture we have regularly ****ed up in the past 10 years.

If Carra would have got a yellow card today then he would have missed the Reading game.

He should have taken a booking today and missed the Reading game to be 100% sure that he won't be suspended against Man U.

I hope Agger can play against Reading now because then Carra can be rested with no risk to be suspended against Man U.
