A couple of quality signings in January wouldn't go a miss either.

If we can beat Utd at Anfield which I think will happen plus take points off the other big 4 away from home then we have a great chance, the best we've had in a long time.
We're starting to kill off the poor teams now which is something we normally struggle with doing, but we have to start beating the big 4 away otherwise it will all be in vain I'm afraid. Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal very rarely drop points so it's going to be difficult but keep believing...I know I will be! YNWA.Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Very much will depend on how Arsenal will cope the next three months.
It's now we will see how tired their players are and how they will cope without Toure for almost two months(Jan and Feb). I really can't see how their defense can cope without him.
I think that we will win the league IF we are lucky with injuries.Last edited by AFII; 02-12-07, 09:37 PM.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I firmly believe it is ours for the taking if we concentrate on ourselves and not bother with other team's results. We have the best striker in the world, the best midfielder in the world, the best manager in the world, the best scouser in the world and the best fans in the world.

The difference this year is we are still in with a chance just as we are entering, historically our peak period of form lasting the rest of the season. We are so gonna be in with a shout come the serious end of the championship. I keep thinking he has been in exactly the same situation at Valencia in his first season there and we know what happened....

We have proved over the last few weeks that we can cope without Alonso and Agger as we have a fantastic squad with quality players to come in like Sami, Lucas & Mascher, obviously it would be better if they were fit but I honestly think we have the best squad in the Premiership.Originally posted by Armchairkopite View PostKey men for me Reina--carra--Agger--Alonso--Stevie--Kewell--Torres, these seven players need to stay fully fit if they do then imo we will win the league.
If we are close after the christmas period I think Rafas rotation policy will pay dividends and we will be the fresher and fitter and go all the way.Kurtangled in the McFadden thread 16/01/08

Well we've been incredibly unlucky this season so far - Carra, Gerrard, Torres, Kewell, Aurelio, Alonso, Agger to name a few - if we don't pick up another injury between now and the end of the season, I wouldn't call it lucky, I'd call it even.Originally posted by AFII View PostVery much will depend on how Arsenal will cope the next three months.

The away games against the bigger teams have been our achilles heel. We need to win them to stand a chance of winning the title. I think Chelsea will slip in January when the African Nations rolls in. Arsenal, if they keep Fibreglass and Adebayor fit, will be a handful. The Scum always pull a trick at the last minute- they need some injuries. Hopefully, we inflict it upon them. If we beat Chelsea at the Bridge, I'm guessing in January, I think Chelsea will be knocked out and fingers crossed, we can win the holy grail.
