My sig, is the comparison against the teams we played, not against this time last year. But I guess it's similar to what you're looking for.

when you look at it like your sig, we haven't improved a great deal results wise, performance wise we have, i just hope it doesn't falter when we encounter more difficult teams

The number of points separating us from the top of the table was far greater last season at the same point. I think it was more than 11 points.

Yeah, the only real difference is an improved defence, which has led us to drawing a few rather than losing. We've been lucky with our fixture list so far too.

No, you were talking about our improvement 'performance wise'. It's not quantifiable though ... scoring more goals ? Probably.
