Fair play to him for doing so. Just a pity it didn't happen a week ago.

to be fair George has kept his head down over the past few weeks, all the bluster has been coming from Hicks, who seems to be a stereotypical loud mouthed texan
Lawrenson:"Well thats 3 good chances they have had in the first 3 minutes of this half"

Motson:"" Yes Mark, you could almost say that they have had 3 chances in as many minutes"

Lawrenson: Errr I thought I just did say that, John"

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Although he now pays a £5000 fine for every show he misses.

With his recent drunk driving arrest will they even let him in to the US!

All this will do is allow his quotes to be interpeted in certain ways by the press. He'd be better off not doing the interview at all.

I've got a feeling that it'll do more harm than good.

                          +1

talkSPORT is car crash radio at the best of times. Sensationalist bull****.

And remember how they treated Carra.

                            TalkSport Co-Host: "John Thaw, Alan."
Alan Brazil: "Do you know, I've been doing that all morning. John, if you're listening, sorry mate."
