You could just turn the phone off.
I used to do that when I lived in Australia the year we won number five. I used to have to watch the matches on delayed coverage on SBS before I went to work and I always kept my phone off so I got no texts from home to tell me the result.
The only time I broke the rule was with about twenty minutes left in the semi final second leg against Chelsea when I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown just couldn't bear the tension any more.
I was delighted when all the texts told me we were through and watched the final few minutes with a smile on my face once I'd calmed down.A humble guy with healthy desire.Comment
